Rescue
Our team conducts an investigation into the situation of different families who are debt slaves within brick kilns. We tried to find the most vulnerable; people with disabilities, victims of sexual abuse and widows and orphans. We then negotiate to pay their full debt to the factory owner and once paid we immediately remove the families from the factory.

Placement
The rescued family is given a rental home which has been paid for one month, and they’re given one month’s worth of food. The home given to the families is within a community of the same faith which provides some safety and support.
Some families need urgent medical care which is fully funded through FREED and some families are given furniture or home supplies if needed.

New Life
The father of the family is gifted a microbusiness, which varies from a rickshaw taxi to a vegetable shop, this allows them to begin providing for their families. The children are welcomed into our school for free, which becomes their first ever introduction to primary education. The women are given the choice to join a sewing class taught by one of our rescued women, allowing them to learn a valuable trade.
